Arthur R. Wolfe, age 74 of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Adena, Ohio on September 15, 1939 and was the son of the late Vance and Hannah Mary Wolfe. Art was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #554. He retired from Nickles Bakery as a driver in 2002. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Wolfe and his son-in-law Stephen Howley. He was devoted to his family and is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sally (Baltzer) Wolfe, his son, William A. Wolfe, his daughters, Theresa (Johnney) Johnson and Roxanne Howley, his grandchildren, Tiana, Brittany, Angela, Autum, Arthur, Sean, J.J. and Shannon and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Kaylee, Isaya and Jeffery. Also surviving are his sisters, Frances Edgar, Elsie Patterson, Dorothy Davis and Helen Miller and his brother Raymond Wolfe. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Burial; will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. Memorial may be made in Mr. Wolfe's name to either, Davita Dialysis, 2112 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, OH 44646 or Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Green, OH 44685.
