Arthur Edwin George

Arthur E. George, Jr., 75, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2015. He was born in Detroit, MI on December 27, 1939 to the late Arthur E. and Catherine George, Sr. Art retired from Hercules Engines and worked part time for Aid Pest Control for several years retiring in 2007. He was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church, an avid Cleveland Indians fan, dedicated family man and was known for his sense of humor. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth George in 2007. Art is survived by his children, Lawrence (Becky) George of Perry Township, Lynette (Mark) Gabriele of Jackson Township and Lance George of Jackson Township; five grandchildren, Lawrence and Lauren George, Madyson, Emmalee and Audrey Gabriele; a brother, Greg (Rachel) George; and a sister Gail (Bill) Jankowski. Friends and family may call at St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church on Saturday April 11, 2015 from 9:30AM - 11:30AM, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30AM, The Rev. Dr. Bruce Roth, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
