Arnold J. Wright

Arnold "Arnie" J. Wright, 70 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Affinity Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Glasgow, WV on February 11, 1942 to the late Findley J. & Goldie Wright. Arnie was a self-employed truck driver for over 45 years. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Community Full Gospel Church, Eagles, Moose Lodge 481. He loved to sing and play guitar. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed any sport, NASCAR, Drag Racing and Bowling. Arnie is survived by his wife, Gloria " Tootie" J. (Barnett) Wright, whom he married on January 3, 2004, a son, Jacob (Ruby) Wright of Middlebranch, two step-sons, Ron (Tina) Roach of Crawfordsville, IN, James Roach of Akron, fourteen grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Claude Wright of Canton, Bobby Wright of Cabin Creek, WV, two brother –in-laws, Butch (Alice) Barnett, Todd Kutch, sister –in-law, Kathy (Chuck) Rohr, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by by his first wife, Dorothy (Piatko) Wright and a son, Timothy Wright. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
