Armond Jones

Armond R. Jones, age 23 months, passed away Thursday May 13, 2010 at Akron Children’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 28, 2008 in Canton to Reona Wilson. Armond is survived by his mother Reona Wilson; brother Aamir Jones; grandparents Lynn (Thomas) Wilson, and Jeffery (Carla) King; great-grandparents Bishop Gerald (Lillian) Evans, and Juanita King; great-great grandmother Phyllis Orie McBride; uncles Marcus and Lyron Wilson, and Jeffery King II; special cousin Mariana Wilson all of Massillon, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, saints and friends. The family will receive friends Monday May 17th from 11:00 A.M. till Noon at Apostolic Faith Assembly 1823 7th St., Canton followed by funeral services at Noon. Pastor Kermit J. Greene will officiate, with Bishop Gerald Evans delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Massillon. The family would like to say a special thanks to the Akron Children’s Hospital doctors, nurses, and staff for the care and kindness shown to Armond and his family during his stay.
