Ardith M. Baker

Ardith M. Baker, 1930 - 2018, 87 of Massillon, passed away on March 16, 2018. She was born in Sandusky to the late Leo and Clara (Andres) Klein of Huron and LeHigh Acres, Fl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Burdue. Ardith loved being with family and enjoyed cooking, especially holiday dinners. She also enjoyed playing cards, traveling, music and dancing. She grew beautiful home gardens and was very patriotic. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ray E. Baker; three daughters and a son, Barbara Gudaitis and Deborah Douthit of Huron, Christine Dye of Canton and James (Erica DeBerardinis) Gudaitis of Pensacola, FL; two grandchildren, Lisa (White) Goff of Sandusky and Emily Gudaitis of Canton; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Lauren Goff of Sandusky; step-son and step-daughter, Donald (Barbara) Baker of Dunnellon, FL and Kathleen (Joe Mills) Coates of Canton; four step grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a funeral service at 6:00pm. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 1:45pm.
