Anthony Scibetta

Anthony Scibetta, age 74, of Jackson Township, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. Anthony was born on October 7, 1938 in Canton, the son of the late Sam and Mary (Oddi) Scibetta. Tony was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1956 graduate of Timken High School. Tony was a former Canton City fireman, realtor and owner of Tony's Tasti Crème for many years. He was a member of Unique Club and was an avid golfer. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Carl Scibetta and his granddaughter Caitlin. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Dawn (Gerbec) Scibetta; his sons, Steve (Kendra) Scibetta, and Scott (Lorelle) Scibetta; his grandchildren, Haley, Lauren, and Sydney; his sisters, Rose Rinaldi, Cathy (Dave) Toth, and Pam (Carl) Brasill; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Tony's Life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Rev. Cliff Price will be officiating.
