Annie Hofsteter

Annie Hofsteter 76, of Canton, Ohio, died Aug. 3, 2011, in Nazareth, PA., in the home of her daughter, Suzanne Roesch. Annie was the wife of the late Paul L. Hofsteter who died in 2002. Annie was born April 10, 1935 in Dooega on Achill Island, Ireland, daughter of the Late Michael and Mary (Dever) Kilbane. She worked as a clerk and in the accounts department of Ben Heggy Candy Store in Canton for 42 years. She wa a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Canton. She was a devoted wife, mother grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all. She is survived by a son, James D. Hofsteter, Canton Ohio; daughter, Suzanne Roesch and husband, William of Nazareth Pa., five grandchildren: David Jacoby, Megan Myers, Derek, Phillip, and Raquelle Roesch. Pre-deceased daughters, Patricia and Dianne Hofsteter; and brothers, Edward (Ted), James, John Kilbane; and sister, Mary Jo Kilbane. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Reichel Funeral Home, Nazareth Pa., is in charge of arrangements.
