Annette M. Schopp

Annette M. Schopp, 98 of Navarre, passed away on December 9, 2012 at Altercare in Navarre. She was born to Anthony and Mary Pizzino in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on January 21, 1914. During her childhood the family moved to Massillon. After marriage she and her husband, Donald, moved to Navarre and lived there until their retirement in 1976. For the next 2o years, the Schopp's lived in California until they decided to "return home" to live out their remaining years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by husband and her daughter, Marie Bambauer. Anne is survived by two children, her son Anthony of Hilton Head Island, SC, and her daughter, Donna Gizzi of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Chelini of Rohnert Park, CA, Phillip Gizzi of Godley, TX, Donald Schopp of Reston, VA, Justin Schopp of Oak Hill, VA, and Jonathan Schopp of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Margaret Bozarth, Gloria Cicchinelli, and Alma Boerner all of Massillon; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews Anne's happiest times were spent with her family. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Family Parish in Navarre. Burial followed at St. Clement's Cemetery.
