Anne N. Silverthorne

Anne N. Silverthorne age 96 of Perry Twp. passed away October 29, 2009 at the Laurels. Anne was born in Canton on July 27, 1913 to the late Harry J. & Minnie (Froelicher) Gottschalk. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Silverthorne (1974), a daughter, Robin Lehere (2000), a sister Thelma McFarland and two brothers William & Harry Gottschalk. Anne touched everyone she met. She always put her family and friends needs above her own. Anne devoted her life to her husband while instilling love, compassion and respect in her children. Her love will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Now she is an angel in heaven, reunited with those who have gone before her. She was and will always remain in our memory and hearts. Anne is survived by two children and their spouses: Robert & Carol Silverthorne of Salt Lake City, UT and Minette & Michael Gray of Canal Fulton; seven grandchildren, Sean, Deirdre, and Robert III Silverthorne, Wendy Donze, Scott Thayer, Ryan Haas, Heidi Preising and six great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Monday November 2, 2009 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
