Anna Toriello

Anna Toriello, age 94, of Hackensack, NJ, passed away Tuesday evening at Affinity Medical Center, in Massillon, OH. Anna had been a resident at Amherst Meadows Care Center in Massillon for the past two years. She was born March 18, 1915 in Hackensack, NJ the daughter of the late Mariano and Maria (Redeno) Pizza. Anna was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Thomas Moore K of C in Hackensack. She was active in the social activities for the Hackensack Senior Center on Kansas St. Anna married William Toriello and he preceded her in death in 1976. Anna is survived by sons Richard (Nancy) Toriello of Milford, NJ, and Peter (Mary) Toriello of Fenton, MI; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son Joseph Toriello. A memorial service will be announced at a later date to be held at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack.
