Anna Stanko

Anna Stanko, 99, of Massillon passed away Friday afternoon January 16, 2009 at Amherst Meadows Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born April 7, 1909 in Duquesne, PA the daughter of the late Dimitrius and Anna (Rusnak) Liska. Anna was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Anna is survived by daughter Jackie Stanko of Massillon; sister Helen Martin of Manchester, CT; daughter-in-law Alice Stanko of Massillon; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Stanko, sons Frank, Michael, and Gerald Stanko, daughter Kathleen Eckert, and brother James Liska. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Arnold Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon followed by funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
