Anna Ruth Glick

Anna Ruth Glick, 83, went home to be with her Lord on May 1, 2021. She was born in Lancaster County, PA on June 20, 1937 to the late John and Anna (Mummau) Drescher. Ruth was known for her hospitality and cooking. Her home was always open to missionaries, students, friends and family. She loved to travel and sing with groups. She was part of The Victory Trio, releasing two albums and also Naomi and Ruth releasing the album He’s Coming Soon. Ruth was also a contributing editor to the Taste of Home Magazine and also enjoyed taxiing the Amish. Surviving are her husband, James S. Glick, whom she married on April 7, 1956; their children, Randy (Dawn) Glick, Jerry (Becky) Glick, Dr. Dan (Martha) Glick, Sharon Adamczak and Rachel (David) Mayle; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a favorite fur grandchild, Max; and a brother, Luke Drescher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittany Adamczak; and siblings, John and James Drescher and Mary Miller. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 1pm - 3pm and then on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at East Union Mennonite Church, 10678 Old Lincoln Way E., Orrville, OH 44667 from 12pm - 1pm with a funeral service to start at 1pm. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
