Anna M. Miller

Anna M. Miller age 83 of Massillon, passed away Friday morning at her residence. She was born on October 8, 1923 in Akron, Ohio to the late Elmer and Elizabeth Gjertsen. Anna started her nursing career at the age of 18 and received her L.P.N. degree a couple years later. She worked at Aultman Hospital, then for Massillon State Hospital and eventually private duty. Anna was a member of Church of Christ in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Miller Sr. with whom she shared 63 yrs. of marriage; infant daughter, Ellen Marie; sisters, Martha, Eleanor, Sarah and Miranda; one brother, Charles Gjertsen. She is survived by her sons; Ralph (Connie) Miller of Massillon, Robert Miller of Roanoke, VA, Charles (Helen) Miller of Massillon and William (Barb) Miller of Sugar Creek; daughters, Carol (Russ) Rennie of Waynesburg and Elizabeth Rossiter of Massillon, 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one sister, Harriett Schrader of CA. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Evangelist Glenn E. Hawkins of Church of Christ will be Officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
