Anna (Hodgson) Williams

November 19, 1916 — January 18, 2010

Anna (Hodgson) Williams, age 93 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. She was born in Gary, Indiana on November 19, 1916 and she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Lapadat) Marcus. Anna was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Omega Circle and participated in Spice of Life at the church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Ernest J. Hodgson and Paul Williams, her daughter, Mary Ann Crottinger, her granddaughter, Marcia Ann Bevelacqua and sister Sylvia Marcus. She is survived by her granddaughter, Lynn Ann Johnson-Ellyson of Massillon, her great grandchildren, Aaron (Sara) Johnson, Michael Bevelacqua and Nicole Ellington, 7 great great grandchildren, her sisters, Mary Juhasz and Aurelia Howe, her brothers, Samuel Marcus and John Badarnza and her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Anna Williams will take place on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Canal Fulton. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE in Massillon and at the church on Friday one hour before the service.
