Ann M. Fisher

Ann M. Fisher, age 93 of Massillon, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at her resident. Ann was born on September 28, 1918 in Bellaire, Ohio the daughter of the late James Morris and Viola Pearl (Schucht) Grant. Ann worked at M.C.A. signs for a period of 14 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, casinos, spending time in her garden planting flowers, baking, and spending time with her beloved family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Lester Fisher, her devoted children, Virginia Lee Spangler and Robert "Butch" Dale Fisher, her brothers and sisters, David Morris, James Joseph, Charles Fredrick, Paul Matthew, Peter Howard, Robert Rudolph, John Ullysess, and Loretta Margaret Grant, Cora Mildred McKeag, Ethel Eileen McConnell, Clara Louise Fulst, Josephine Jackson, Nellie Frances Bell, and Katherine Marie Koogenrich and her grandchildren, Alex Petyovski and Nora "Cricket" Mae Martinez, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Ann (Julius "Shorty") Petyovski, James Lawrence Fisher, Guy Eugene (Shirley) Fisher, and Caroline Elizabeth Fisher, her sisters and brothers, Betty Snyder, Mary Ellen Boston, Thomas Otto Grant, Thelma Fredericka Barton, William Edward Grant, Rossie Barr and Judith Melinda Pergloisie, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her three granddaughters "Angels", Connie, Angel and Kathy held a very special place in her heart. We'll miss her greatly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
