Ann L. Duran

Ann L. Duran age 82 of Massillon went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday October 30, 2007. Ann was born December 1, 1924 in Sharon, PA to the late Paul & Bertha Hiben and was raised in Canton. She was a 1943 graduate of Canton Lincoln High School. In 1947 she married Mike and moved to Massillon. She retired from the former Ekco Products and is currently a greeter at Walmart. Ann enjoyed people and it showed. She delighted in her St. John Lutheran Church work; Martha Society, Alter Guild, ULS #126 and as Flower chairperson. Her Walmart ‘greeting experience’ allowed her to visit with many people. Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years, Michael Duran of the residence, her daughter and son in law, Barbara & Paul Marks of Massillon and their two sons: Michael P. and Matthew T. Marks. Recognition of her Life and Faith will be 10 AM Friday at St. John Lutheran Church in Massillon, her Pastor Rev. John Telloni will officiate. Her final resting place will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 6-8 PM Thursday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
