Ann Christine (Levenduski) Curtis, age 56 of Massillon died March 29, 2007 after a courageous fight against a long term illness. She was born November 15, 1951 in Kokomo, IN, daughter of the late John and Pauline (Pat) Levenduski. She graduated from Mount Vernon Senior High School in 1969 and the University of Southern Indiana in 1973. Ann married Keith Curtis in Mt. Vernon, gave birth to two children before moving with her family to Massillon in 1980. Ann was a dedicated mother, serving on the PTA and a Cub Scout leader. Later, she pursued her life long love to teaching children to draw. She touched and influenced the lives of many young aspiring artists. Ann enjoyed being behind the lens of a camera, always trying to capture and eternalized that special moment. She also enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks and bicycle rides along the towpath with her husband. Most recently, she enjoyed sitting outside watching and feeding the birds in her back yard. Ann was a compassionate and nurturing women always giving and helping others. She is survived by her husband, Keith Curtis of the residence; son Marc of Massillon; daughter Lisa of Honolulu, Hawaii; brother Dr. Gregory Levenduski and his wife Patricia Moll of Ponte Vedra, FL; brother Michael Levenduski of Crawfordsville, IN; grandchildren Jacob Curtis and Logan Curtis of Massillon; mother in law Wilma Curtis of Mt. Vernon, IN; nieces Elizabeth, Kathryn and Sarah Levenduski of Ponte Vedra, FL and aunts Betty Nichols an Alma Rohde. Her funeral service will be 7 PM Thursday April 5, 2007 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may call from 6 PM until the service Thursday at the funeral home.
