Angela M. Junkerman

Angela Waller Junkerman, 90, of Massillon, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, January 13, 2025. 

Angela was born October 7th, 1934, in Santa Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, to Arthur and Mercedes Pujols. 

She immigrated to the United States in 1959 as the wife of the late Sgt. William Waller. Together, they raised six boys in Massillon, OH. 

Angela retired from Massillon Community Hospital in 1988. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Joseph's. She was member of The American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians, Christian Mothers’ Association, and served as director of the Mr. Male America Pageant. Angela enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, traveling, singing, and dancing. She was also known as a “community mom” for her neighbors and friends. Above all, she was dedicated to her family. She loved her family supremely. 

Angela leaves behind her loving sons, Renso Waller (Cynthia Flikkema), William R. Waller II (Kimaura), Steven Waller, and Joseph Waller (Kerry Bush); grandchildren; Samantha Waller, Christopher David Waller (deceased), Maya Lowe (Josh), Carli Harkins (Francis), William R. Waller III (Jesse Nutter), James Waller, Vincent Waller, and Daniel Waller; great grandchildren; Dylan Rankhorn (Amanda), Dominic Waller, Kayden Waller, Kyler Waller, Tatyana Lowe, Ayame Lowe, Ulani Lowe, Corbin Kemp, Trey Harkins, Eleanor Harkins, and Julia Harkins; and great great grandson Tristan Rankhorn. She will also be missed by her siblings Aurthur Pujols, Elba Calcano, Marina Pujols, Merle Ann Montanus, Rosa Pujols and a host of nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Angela is preceded in death by her husband, Hall Junkerman; children David Wayne Waller and Christopher Scott Waller; grandson Christopher David Waller; siblings Daisy Manzueta Pujols, Anna Pujols, William Pujols, and Pedro Pujols. 

Per the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial visitation in Angela’s honor will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, OH 44646.
