André Gentile

André Karl Anton Gentile, age 62, of Grand Rapids, Michigan formerly of Canton, Ohio passed away on March 7, 2021. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 17, 1959. André was a graduate of McKinley High School class of 1977. He served in the U.S. Navy stationed in Subic Bay of the Philippines. André was an employee of Aultman Hospital in Food Service where he was awarded employee of the year in 2004. He took great pride in his position going above and beyond for every patient and their families. André had a great love for music and was a passionate guitar player. He enjoyed going to concerts of every genre with his family and friends. André was preceded in death by his father Anton Gentile and mother Dorothy Colgan. He leaves to cherish his memory his significant other Terri Beckner (her children Joey and Abby) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; step-father Dave Colgan of Leeper, Pennsylvania; his brother Brett (Stacy) Colgan; daughter Danielle (Randy) Riordan; son Anthony (Tonya) Gentile; grandchildren Carter, Vann, Kendra, Natalia, and Athena; his life long friend and mentor Tom Reese; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
