Amos E. "ShooTum" Longshore, 75, passed away on December 25, 2014 following a brief illness. He was born in Massillon on September 10, 1939 to the late Willie and Lillie Mae (Potter) Longshore. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Ross) Longshore, whom he married on August 18, 1960, their children, Evelyn (Rodger) Longshore-Spicer of Massillon, Cassandra Longshore of Massillon, LaNez Longshore of Canton, Aaron (Lenore) Longshore of Massillon and Alexander Longshore of Massillon; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Copeland and Bonnie Longshore; four brothers, Tommy, Johnny ( Bonnie), Bobby and Jeffrey (Laurie) Longshore; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Luke and Jimmy Longshore. Friends and family may call at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Massillon on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 10:00AM-12:00PM with a funeral to be held at 12:00PM. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
