Amanda "Mandi" Marie Dye

Amanda M. Dye, 39, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Mandi was born on August 2, 1978 in Massillon, Ohio to Terry and Patricia (Hampton) Farnsworth. She married Robert “Bob” Dye on July 21, 2001. They shared 16 loving years together. Mandi was a graduate of Stark State where she received two associate’s degrees, in office administration and nursing. She currently worked at The Health Plan as a registered nurse. She was an avid Buckeye’s fan, enjoyed vacationing at the beach with her husband, especially in Mexico, and spending time with her family, friends and her cat Bella. Mandi attended Park Side Church and was very committed to God’s will. She surrendered her life to move to Indiana, for ministry preparation with her husband, and served alongside him at Oak Park Baptist and Thrive. Mandi will always be remembered for her strength, kind spirit, perseverance and zest for life. She is survived by her husband, Bob Dye; her parents Terry and Patricia Farnsworth; her grandma, Ruth Farnsworth; mother and father-in-law Dick (Carol) Dye; brothers and sisters-in-law Chris (Greg) Ewing, Rick (Joanna) Dye, Angela (Chad) McCormick, Renee (Keith) Corbett; aunt Sharon (Tracy) Goddard; uncle Stan (Connie) Hampton and many other aunts and uncles. Mandi was preceded in death by her daughter, Emma Grace born on June 7, 2017, as well as her grandfather Bill Farnsworth. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5-8pm at Canton Baptist Temple, 515 Whipple Avenue NW, Canton, Ohio and again on Saturday from 9-10am. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19 at Canton Baptist Temple at 10am with Rev. Duane Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be in Mandi’s name to Camp CHOF, 1820 Deerfield Ave, NW, Dalton, Ohio 44618.
