Alyce J. Bishop

Alyce J. "Pee Wee" Bishop, R.N., 84, of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Massillon, passed away on September 18, 2016 following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on September 13, 1932 to Arthur J. and Coyla (Braucher) Fritz who preceded her in death. Alyce graduated from the Aultman School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. She is survived by her children, Laurie (Michel Durand) Smith, Barbara Bishop, James (Patty) Bishop and Jeff (Stacy) Bishop; seven grandchildren, Jimmy, Scott, Brett, Monica, Zachary (Jen), Natalie and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Hayley; three sisters, Doris (Clark) Bury, Mary Lou (Gary) Conaway and Darlene (Gary) Byer; a brother Arthur (Imogene) Fritz. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bishop; brother, Jay Fritz and a sister, Coyla Eversole. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. Burial will be private in West Lawn Cemetery, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Living Center in Massillon, Ohio.
