Althea M. Van Camp, age 84 of Navarre, died Monday morning at Amherst Meadows. She was born on October 3, 1921 in Dillonville, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Chester & Cora (Bell) McKim. She was a Massillon resident for most of her life. She had been employed at the Hoover Company, Rose Lane Nursing Home and Massillon Community Hospital. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray B. Van Camp, Sr. in 1991 and her brother Edward McKim. She is survived by her daughters Rose A. (John) Boyd of Canal Fulton and Leona Boyd of Middleton, OH, her son Ray B. Van Camp, Jr. of Lexington, KY, her brother Leon McKim of Medina, OH, 10 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren & 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
