Almeater "Mimi" Ross

In Loving Memory Almeater "Mimi" Ross, 74 received her heavenly wings after an extended illness on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Mimi was born in Macon, Tennessee on May 22, 1948, to her late parents, T.W. Shelton and Cassie (Moss) Shelton. She was a loving, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, auntie, and friend. Mimi was employed by Westinghouse and later at Schantz Organ Company before retiring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jason Vann, and sister, Cynthia Rae Shelton. Mimi is survived by her loving sons Clendon "Reggie" Thomas( Karyn) and Shaun Ross (Jessica), brothers, Arlander (Linda), Shelton, Larry (Joyce) Shelton, sisters, Shirley (Perry) Moore, Dee Shelton, Fay (Gerald) Shelton-Barnes, nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She loved her family, friends, garden flowers, and entrepreneurial business which included floral arrangements and special gifts, puzzles, and special TV shows. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 11:00 am — 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
