Alma I. Parsons

Alma I Parsons, age 96, of Perry, passed away July 31, 2018. She was born April 21, 1922 in Youngwood, PA; a daughter of the late Maxie and Estella Woods. Alma was a graduate of Wintersville High School and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She retired from the T.C. Knapp Grade School (Perry Local Schools). Alma was preceded in death by her son Gregory Parsons; her parents; 1 sister and 4 brothers. She leaves behind her husband Glenn Parsons, whom she married September 4, 1949; her granddaughters Jodi (Chad) Geaslen, and Jill (Conor) Colgan; her daughter-in-law Kristine Parsons; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Betty Woods; brother-in-law Edwin Williamson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, August 3, 2018, in the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Tine Siroki officiating. Calling hours will be held from 9-11am also in the funeral home on Friday prior to the service. Interment will be in the North Lawn Cemetery.
