Alice Knight

Alice E. Knight, age 87, of Massillon passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1923 in Massillon the daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (Eisenbrei) Featheringham. Alice had been employed with REO Industries. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and a former member of the Massillon Moose and Eagles Ladies Auxiliaries. She enjoyed playing cards, dice games, and bingo. Alice loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was always willing to help someone in need. She brightened everyone’s life that she touched. Alice is survived by her children Rick (Florence) Knight, Gary (Brenda) Knight, Timothy (Teresa) Knight, and Sharon (Darrel) Moretta all of Massillon; brother Walter “Lefty” (Delores) Featheringham of Massillon; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Patchin, and Jeanne Seese, granddaughter Theresa Jasinski, and two great-grandson’s Caleb and Collin Jasinski. Visitation will be Tuesday December 21st from 5-8 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Edward Gretchko officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
