Alice J. "Jeannie" Fike, 72, passed away at home surrounded by her family, after a four year courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 14, 1943 in Massillon to the late John and Anna (Ivan) Bednar. Jeannie was a graduate of Jackson High School and worked for the former A& D Foodarama. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, North Canton. She is survived by her husband, Wayne E. Fike, whom she married on December 18, 1971; their son, John (Kristin) Fike of Pickerington; two grandchildren, Anna and Jessica; and a sister, Dolores (Paul) Cooper. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 10:00am-11:00am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7707 Market ST N, North Canton, OH 44721 with a funeral service held at 11:00am, Rev. Ralph Hough, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
