Albert Holman, age 70, lost his 3 and a half year battle with cancer on May 12th, 2024 in Massillon, Ohio. He was a graduate of Washington High School in 1972, who then went on to work for Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad for 24 years.
Sports were a major interest as a young child well into his final years. He had a strong passion and drive for baseball though. He was a huge fan of the great outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and growing vegetables. Some might say he was known for his eye for detail and love of gardening; happily providing all that he loved with the fruits of his labor. You could usually find him with his notorious beard, bibs and a "C" ball cap in the garden.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents; Shirley (John) Moser, Albert Holman, his wife Debra, and sister Carol (Gary) Ruby. Albert is survived by his 4 children: Matthew (Christine), Zachary, Adam, and Sada; his 3 grandchildren: Jesse, Hannah (Daniel), and Star; his 2 great-grandchildren: Saleah and Kagan; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Albert’s wishes were to not have any services, however, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date and be announced by the family.
