Alan Parnacott

Alan Parnacott, 73, of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Alan was born in Massillon, on November 28, 1948, the son of the late Jim Parnacott and Cora (Morales) Hershey. Alan was very active with Massillon Little League, where he loved umpiring, and the kids. He advanced to State level in Little League baseball and softball. Alan was involved in the Challenger Division as well. Alan could always be seen back in the kitchen cooking or at his corner table at The Coffee Cup. He also enjoyed glamping.

He will be missed by his best friend, Valerie Parnacott; children, Julie (Timothy) Wines, Susan Parnacott, Jason Parnacott; stepchildren; Danny (Rachel) Lazar, Amy (David) Pugh, Amy Dugan, and Chad (Julie) Kula; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 5-8 p.m at the Paquelet Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. A Celebration of Alan's life will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery.
