Agnes M. Maceyak

Agnes M. Maceyak, age 82, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday evening. She was born in Cairnbrook, PA on May 19, 1924 to the late Michael and Anna (Meyers) Chigier. After Agnes graduated from high school she married the love of her life, Joe Maceyak. They moved to Massillon in 1962. Agnes retired from Bordner's were she was a cashier. After she retired she enjoyed spending her time solving puzzles, playing bingo and crocheting. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William, Paul and Fr. Michael Chigier. Survived by husband, Joe Maceyak of Massillon; one daughter, Darlene and Michael Johnson of Massillon; three sons, Donald and Ivana Maceyak of Kent, Ronald and Barbara Maceyak of Canton, John and Tina Maceyak of Massillon; eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Paquelet Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
