Agnes Joan Delellis

Agnes Joan DeLellis, 88 of Ashland, formerly of Massillon, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. Joan was born on November 3, 1929 in Franklin, NJ the daughter of Paul and Sophie (Franek) Zidek. She was a woman of devout faith, constantly encouraging and praying for others. Joan was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She made friends everywhere she went, and is best remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor. Joan was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard DeLellis in 2007, and sisters, Mary, Anne and Margaret. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Donna) DeLellis, Stephen (Denise) DeLellis, Ann (Raymond) Jacobs, and Frank (Jennifer) DeLellis; sisters, Lynne Wilson, Patricia (Dick) Lunstead and Carole (Phil) Esposito; and 9 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either St. Joseph Catholic Church: 322 3rd Street S.E., Massillon, Ohio 44646, or Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation: 622 Center Street, Ashland, OH 44805.
