A. Dale Alpeter

A. Dale Alpeter, age 78 of Massillon, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 after a brief illness. He was born on March 28, 1930 in Sugar Creek and was the son of the late Earl and Hallie Alpeter. He was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. He spent time in the Army in Germany for two years. Dale was the proud owner and operator of Alpeter Realty Co. here in Massillon. He also liked to buy homes and do remodeling. Dale was a member of the V.F.W. in Navarre. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Arlene Andrews. He is survived by his son John (Peggy) Alpeter of Colorado Springs, CO and his daughter, Susan Alpeter-Moore of Charleston, S.C., his grandchildren, Matthew, Catie and Jenny Alpeter all of Colorado, Mother of his children, Mary Alpeter of Massillon, his brother, Robert (Nancy) Alpeter of Navarre, special nephew Ronald (Joan) Newell of Simi Valley, CA, and many dear nieces and nephews. Also very dear to his heart, Helga Grenz and her family. In keeping with Dale’s wishes there will be no funeral or calling hours. A Celebration of his Life will take place with his family and friends at a later date. Messages of sympathy and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com. Remembering to “Thank” the many friends Dale had at the morning “Coffee Meetings” at McDonalds for over 30 years.
