William J. Flood, Sr.

William J. Flood, Sr., age 64 of Massillon, passed away at his residence with his family at his side. He was born on March 11, 1953 in Massillon and was the son of Philip and Doris (Cook) Flood. They preceded him in death. He was a truck driver until illness forced him to retire. He was an avid sports fan, following the Massillon Tigers and the Cleveland Browns. Most of all he was a good family man and enjoyed spending time with his family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Philip Flood and Robert Flood and his sister Kathleen Flood. He is survived by his wife Kathy (Parr) Flood of the home, his sons, Richard Flood, William Flood, Jr. and his wife Julie and Christopher Flood, his grandchildren, Marissa, Brianna, Brittany, Aschten, William III, Breighton, Montana, Aydan, Roman and Colton and his sisters, Michele Bell and her husband Ken and Pat Flood and her wife Debbie. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, August 11th from 5-7 pm with a service led by Pastor John Stallings at 7:00 pm.
