William H. Miller, age 86 of Massillon, died on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on August 28, 1926 in Booneville, Mississippi and was the son of the late Curtis and Emmabelle (Spencer) Miller. He served in the U.S. Navy following World War II. He received a Victory Ribbon and an Asiatic Pacific Ribbon. He then went on to work with Bay Construction in Sandusky, Ohio for over 30 years. William was a hard working man who took good care of his family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Lawrence, his sisters LuJean Young and Helen Magaha and his grandson Devin Lawrence. He is survived by his wife, Minnie E. (Whitney) Miller to whom he was married to for over 60 years. Also surviving are his sons, Freddie L. Miller, Keith Miller and David Miller, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 11:00 AM with Bishop Gerald Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 10-11:00 A.M.
