Wilda L. Bryce, 88 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Wilda was born on July 8, 1929 in Massillon the daughter of Earl and Beulah (Vernon) Reichenbach. She was a lifelong member of the area and a 1946 graduate of Washington High School. She worked at JCPenney and retired after 15 years of service. Wilda was a skilled artist. She loved painting, attending craft fairs and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Bryce and her brother, James Reichenbach. She is survived by her husband James R. “Whitey” Bryce, whom she married on July 19, 1948; children and their spouses, Brenda (John) Kenneweg, Michael (Donna) Bryce, and Robert (Loretta) Bryce; grandchildren, Ashley Black, Jessica McCune and Kristen Bauer; great grandchildren, Isabel, Jackson, Zoe, and Ricky, Hillary and Allison; great-great grandchildren, Charlotte and Miles; and her sister, Dorothy Whitmer. A Celebration of Wilda’s life will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 12 p.m. (Noon) at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Newmans Creek Cemetery.
