Valois "Val" Morris

Valois (Val) Morris passed away Monday, October 12,2020 at The Laurels of Massillon, Massillon, Ohio. Val was a selflessly loving person and mother. After raising her three children in North Canton, Ohio, she retired and moved to Mission, Texas where she enjoyed golfing, dancing and traveling. Val was born on February 21, 1930, to Ralph E. and Edna (Hull) Richardson, in Alliance, OH. She married Robert W. Morris on September 15, 1951 at Christ Presbyterian Church in Canton, OH. Val is survived by her daughter, Jane (Joseph) Brownlee of Reynoldsburg, OH; sons James (Linda) Morris of Massillon, OH; and Michael (Margie) Morris of Pittsburgh, PA. Grandchildren are Benjamin and Kirsten Brownlee, Tara DeSantis, and Clayton and Aurley Morris. Val's sister, Francis Harter of N. Canton, also survives. There are also several nieces and nephews. Val was preceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Bob, grandson Dante DeSantis, and by siblings Evelyn (Bob) Gray, Charles (Connie) Richardson, Bea (Bill) Farber, Glen (Jan) Richardson, and Marilyn Fae Richardson. Graveside Services for the family will be held at North Lawn Cemetery in Canton, OH.
