Twilda Mae Trubey, age 90 of Massillon, passed away in her home on December 6, 2020. Twilda was born on July 10, 1930 in Massillon to Alvin and Blanche (Hodgson) Garver. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at Republic Steel in Massillon, and then became a school monitor at Whittier Elementary. Twilda was also a preschool teacher at First Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She also worked for many years as a voting poll worker. Twilda enjoyed playing cards and crocheting. She loved her animals and her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Daniel Trubey, and grandson, Jimmy Randolph. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Randolph, grandchildren, Jason Randolph and Christin Trubey, great grandchildren, Kyle Overhaul, Jake (Ashley) Randolph, and Hunter Steinberg, as well as multiple stepchildren, and step-grandchildren. Friends and family may come to call on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 10-11 a.m. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial to take place at Rose Hill Memorial Garden. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
