Ted Thornberry

On Wednesday, January 30th Teddy began his eternal trip paddling down the river. Ted was born on April 23, 1958 in Massillon to Gene and Harriette (Isbell) Thornberry. He graduated from Tuslaw High School in 1976. He took great pride in his work as an electrician with the Massillon Board of Education. He was preceded in death by his brother Tim Thornberry, grandparents Harry and Lillian Isbell and Harold and Mary Thornberry. He is survived by his mate and best friend Linda Moore, parents Gene and Harriette Thornberry, kids Don and Niki Klein and Dacey Thornberry, brother Tommy Thornberry, sister Heidi Thornberry and her companion David Leather. Teddy was blessed with the friendship he shared with the Mackey family and all of his lifelong friends. Any day Teddy was on the river with the Konga men was a perfect day. The family welcomes all who knew Teddy to come to a memorial gathering on Saturday, February 9th at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home from 2-5 P.M. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Elizabeth Weinstein and hospice nurse Chris Stutzman for the exceptional loving care and compassion they gave to Teddy and his family.
