Shirley Jean Crenshaw

November 7, 1946 — August 8, 2016

Shirley J. Crenshaw, age 69, peacefully passed away on August 8th, 2016 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center-Hospice in Canton, Ohio. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon, Ohio, graduating from Massillon Washington High School in 1964. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian (Joiner) Johnson and her father, Johnnie Johnson. She is survived by her husband Richard Crenshaw, daughter Renee (Crenshaw) Flowers (Anthony Lewis) of Charlotte, NC, son Duane Crenshaw (Alayna) of Chicago, IL, sisters Joanne White (Leroy) and Evelyn Brown; brothers John Henry Johnson (Sharon), Vernon Johnson (Gerri), Tyrone Johnson, and Billy Johnson all from Massillon. She has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Shirley's extended family includes many cousins, a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends. Calling hours are Sunday 5-8 pm at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will be held Monday 11 am at St. James AME Zion Church where she was a lifelong member. www.paquelet.com
