Sharon Stuck, 62 of Massillon, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 after treatments for cancer failed to restore her health. Sharon was born on June 19, 1954 in Massillon the daughter of Raymond and Sarah Myers. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1972 graduate of Washington High School. She graduated from Massillon School of Nursing in 1975. She worked at Massillon Community Hospital and recently retired from Akron Children's Hospital in Hudson. Sharon was someone who met people and almost instantly became important to them. No matter what she had planned, she included everyone who wanted to be a part of it. Being a top notch nurse, she could also have very well been a photographer or an event planner. Sharon loved a party! And she loved to make it special down to every last detail. She and Randy loved floating on the pontoon boat, a good day out playing slots at the casino, and vacationing with family and friends. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids and always looked forward to spending time with them. We feel lucky we knew someone who makes saying goodbye so hard. It's comforting to know she will be so happy to be with her dad again, and meet 2 grandkids who passed into heaven before they were born. And we have to remember, God is like us when we pick the flowers from our gardens … He also picks the most beautiful ones. Special thank you for the support and care received from Dr. Greg Manson and his staff and her best friend Shauna Treisch. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Myers. She is survived by her loving husband, Randy E. Stuck whom she married on June 21, 1997; her children, Tracy (Chad) Jenkins and J.R. (Jessica) Drennen; mother, Judie Myers; sister, Vickie (Jerry) Wayman, niece, Chelsea; brother, Steve (Janet) Myers, niece, Mellisa, nephew, Joe; step-children, Sasha Stuck, Brandy (Rick) Wion, and Heather Stuck; grandchildren, Blake & Brock Jenkins and Nevaeh & Ronnie Drennen; step-grandchildren, Trent & Gabe Cakanic and Peyton Rinkes; and numerous other family and friends. A Celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for her grandchildren's college fund.
