Ruby Wilson

Ruby A. Wilson, 91, of Canton passed away Wednesday April 15, 2009 at Canton Regency. She was born November 8, 1917 in Set Still, PA the daughter of Ramer and Hannavee (Garrison) Sickelsmith. Ruby had been employed as a dietary aide at Aultman Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Massillon and the D.A.V. Auxiliary. Ruby is survived by sons Ronald L. (Linda) Wilson, and Robert C. (Phyllis) Wilson both of Massillon; daughter Mary M. (Tony) Hogsed of Charlotte, NC; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert D. Wilson in 1997, brothers Hershel, William, and Fremont, and sisters Madge, Mildred, Norma, Lesta, and Wanda. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd NE., Massillon. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Massillon where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Dr. Roger Alber will officiate.
