Ronald M. Nave

Ronald “Ronnie” M. Nave, age 80 of Jackson Twp passed away on November 03, 2017. He was born in Massillon on July 18, 1937 to the late Marvin and Eileen Nave. He was a 1955 graduate of Washington High School. He married Marilyn Scheufler Acierno on June 20, 1970 and they shared 47 years together. Ronnie served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as an Engineering Technician for East Ohio Gas until his retirement in 1995. He was a long time member of the New Life United Methodist Church; Past Master of Trinity Masonic Lodge #710 and a 32nd Degree Mason with the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of the Valley of Canton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the great outdoors and Massillon Tiger Football, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Marilyn; his children Mark Nave, Kimberly (Douglas) Colaner, Bret (Catherine) Acierno and JoLynn Acierno; his grandchildren John (Kelsi) Acierno, Megan (Brian) Bartuseck, Mary Johnson, Tony Acierno, Mallorie Colaner and Kyle Nave; his great-grandchildren Peyton, Taven, Ryker, Jess, and Carson; his sister Bonnie (Robert) Hunter. A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, November 08, 2017 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon at 11a.m. Pastor Becky Evanoff officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 07, 2017 from 6-8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
