Roger Allen Bethel

Roger Allen Bethel, 60, of Canton, passed away after an extended illness, on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1957 in Canton, Ohio to Stark Dayle and Mabel Irene (Tom) Bethel. Roger worked for the Timken Co. where he retired from after 37 years of service. During his employment at Timken, Roger attended Malone University where he received his bachelor's degree in business administration. He then married Casey Lewis on October 25, 2015.In his spare time, Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming with friends and family. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Casey; sons, Ryan (Marcea) Bethel and Kiel (Natalie) Bethel both of Canton; grandsons, Cade, Koedy, Colt, and Cain; siblings, Jo Ann Valentine, Ronnie (Norma) Bethel, and Jane (Will) Holden. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Bethel and sister, Judy Bethel. The family with receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5-7 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Service will follow at 7 pm.
