Robert "Rob" Dennis Mckernan

Robert "Rob" Dennis McKernan, age 29 passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2014. He was born to Dennis and Kathie (Kritzer) McKernan on August 18, 1985 in Canton. He was a 2003 graduate of Perry High School. After High School, Rob served his country in the United States Air Force working in Missile Maintenance. He worked as a Tool Pusher for Franks Casing. Rob loved life and pushed the envelope by riding motorcycles, four wheelers. He was a diehard Ohio State Fan and had his Man Cave decorated in Scarlet and Gray colors. Rob was the life of the party and enjoyed spending time hanging out with his friends. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his son Bentley McKernan; his parents Kathie (Michael Foehrenbach) McKernan and Dennis (Kathy Walker) McKernan; his sisters Michelle Batdorf, Dawn Dazey, Rachel (Ronald) Patterson and Megan (Ross Stephens) McKernan; his brothers Dennis J. McKernan and Shawn (April Rose) McKernan; The Mother of his Child Jessica Barnhart, as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Ryan McKernan and his grandparents. A Celebration of his life will be held at 2P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 08, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery.
