Revna Glen Metheny

Revna Glen Metheny, age 82 of Brewster, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the home of his son and daughter in law, David and Teresa Metheny. He was born in Terra Alta, WV on June 6, 1925 and was the son of the late Jesse & Delphia (King) Metheny. He was a Ohio resident since 1955. After graduating from Terra Alta High School, he served in the the US Army during World War II. He retired from the former Republic Steel where he was a turn foreman. Glen was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Roseann (Plum) Metheny in 1998, his grandson, Brett Allen Walker and brothers, William, Frank, Clyde, Clarence and Fredrick Metheny. He is survived by his children and their spouses, David & Teresa Metheny of Massillon, Carol Elaine Metheny of Kingsman, AZ and Barbara Ann & Dwaine Walker of Blue Eye , MO, his grandchildren, Justin Glen Metheny, Jared David Metheny and Michael Dwaine Walker, his brothers and their spouses, Jesse & Doris Metheny of Terra Alta, David & Phyllis Metheny of Newark, OH, Samuel & Dorthea Metheny of Rittman, OH, George & Fredis Metheny of Buchanon, VA & Robert & Marie Metheny of Terra Alta and his sister and her husband, Betty & Chuck Richards of New Castle, PA. In Massillon friends may call at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Arthur Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
