Patricia L. Mcelroy

Patricia L. McElroy, 71, of Canton, passed away on December 8, 2020. She was born on May 26, 1949 in Canton and was the daughter of the late Fannie Marshall. She worked in the packaging department for many years at Hercules Engines. Her greatest passion in life was her family. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and was very proud to also be a great-grandmother. The greatest thing she gave them all was her time. She adored each and every one of her children and grandchildren. In addition to her family, Patricia also enjoyed her frequent trips to Las Vegas which she planned about once a year. She will be deeply missed her son Larry (Chanin) McElroy; her companion Edsel Kennedy; grandchildren Bailey, Casey and Kyle; her great-granddaughter Marie; and her sister Linda (Babe) Newland. Patricia was also preceded in death by her daughter Marie Mills and her siblings Marge, Lil and Bob. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15th from 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will be private and burial will take place at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
