Norma J. Thomas

Norma J. Thomas, age 83 of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Laurels of Massillon. Norma was born on May 31, 1927 in Dover the daughter of Nell and Edgar Simon. Norma was a graduate of Washington High School. She was employed as a legal secretary for Ralph Kinsey and Robert Shedlarz of Navarre for 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and making friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Robert L. Thomas of whom she married on December 12, 1964; her daughter Niki (Randall) Snyder of Jackson Twp.; her granddaughter Lindsay Dewey and great-grandson Jack Parker Dewey of Traverse City, MI, and her sister Jean Tomlinson of Barberton. There will be no calling hours or funeral services. At her request cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
