Norma A. Doerflinger

Norma A. Doerflinger, age 88 of Navarre, died on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Altercare of Navarre. She was born on February 16, 1920 in Harmon, Ohio and was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Flora A. (Meredith) Booth. She was a lifelong area resident. Along wither husband, Max Doerflinger, she owned and operated Doerflinger’s Bakery from 1956-1990. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ where she had been active in the Women’s Guild and sang in the choir. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Doerflinger in 1992, five sisters and one brother. She is survived by her children, Faith Potts of Alexandria, VA, John (Marcy) Doerflinger of Massillon and Beth (Michael) Fox of Navarre., her grandchildren, Kevin and Michael Potts, Max Doerflinger and Sarah Goodrich Dublo, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
