Milton DeWitt Dingler, age 90 of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born on September 1, 1923 in Mansfield, Ohio and was the son of the late Leroy and Eva (DeWitt) Dingler. Milton was a 1941 graduate of Washington High School and served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post 221 and the Massillon Museum. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Mae Dingler in 2009, his infant son, Douglas Dingler and his sister Jane Cormany Gossage. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Cindy and Tom Eberhardt, Susan Norman, Jeff and Debbie Dingler and Scott and Pam Dingler. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Milton DeWitt Dingler will take place on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Dr. Alan Nathan officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10-11 A.M. Private interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested in Mr. Dingler's name to the Massillon Museum, Washington High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Living Flower Fund.
