Mary Marcus Juhasz, 96, passed away September 17, 2014 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Mary was born January 31, 1918 in Gary Indiana to Samuel and Mary (Lapodat) Marcus, immigrants from Romania. She lived in Sharon, PA before coming to Massillon in 1928. She was a 1936 graduate of Washington High School and a member of St Joseph Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers Altar and Rosary Confraternity. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and working puzzles. In addition to her parents and step-father, John Badarnza Sr, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Juhasz in 1985, sisters, Sylvia Marcus and Anna Hodgson Williams, and brother, Sam Marcus. She is survived by her sons, Paul Samuel (Nancy) Juhasz and Michael (Anne) Juhasz, grandchildren, Maria Soliman, Joseph Juhasz, Laura Juhasz, Mark (Abby) Juhasz, and Matthew Juhasz, great-granddaughters Hala Soliman and Alexandra Juhasz, brother, John (Wanda) Badarnza and sister, Aurelia Howe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM, September 22 at St Joseph Church in Massillon. Friends may call at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Ave NE Massillon on Sunday from 2 to 4 or Monday morning from 9 to 9:45. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Joseph St Vincent de Paul Society 330 4th St SE Massillon OH 44646.
